Presently the DID, Malaysia is using a hydrological time series processing system known as Tideda developed by the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, New Zealand (NIWA) for managing and manipulation of hydrological time series. It has various features such as graphical and tabular displays of  hydrological time series that can be generated to produce various report formats as illustrated below.  These reports can be exported to various formats to suit user’s requirement.
It is envisaged that the establishment of the cableway station across the Golok River at Rantau Panjang will pave the way for international cooperation in the field of hydrology and water resources as advocated by the World Metrological Organisation and its auspices to meet challenges of the looming water crisis, floods and droughts.
The Golok cableway station of Malaysia,  station number  6019411 is linked to Control center at Kelantan state and shared to the Joint Website “Malaysia-Thailand Joint Website on the Golok River Basin Information System”.
